1. Introduction
Welcome to Pact. Pact is a personal reflection and commitment tool designed to help you turn insights into intentional actions. Pact runs primarily on your device and does not require account creation.
By using the app, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By using Pact, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms. Pact is intended for general personal use and does not require account registration.
Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of any updates to these Terms.
3. User Data & Storage
Pact does not require user accounts and does not store your data on developer-owned servers.
All data — including books, notes, reflections, and commitments — is stored locally on your device and, if enabled by you, synchronized through your personal iCloud account.
You are solely responsible for managing, backing up, and protecting your device and iCloud data.
Security Commitment
Pact does not have access to your personal content. Your data remains private and under your control at all times.
4. Privacy & Data
Your privacy is fundamental to Pact's design. We do not collect, sell, or transmit personal data to third parties.
Any optional features that rely on system services (such as iCloud synchronization) are governed by Apple's privacy policies and your personal device settings.
5. Intellectual Property
The Pact application, including its design, interface, and functionality, is owned by the developer. You retain full ownership of all personal content you create within the app.
Pact does not claim rights over your notes, reflections, or commitments.
6. Limitation of Liability
Pact is provided “as is” for personal reflection and productivity purposes. Pact does not provide professional, medical, psychological, or financial advice.
The developer is not responsible for decisions or outcomes resulting from your use of the app.
7. Changes to the App
Features may evolve over time. Any changes will respect the local-first and privacy-focused nature of the app.
